VCAD's Winter Grad Show

On Wednesday, December 18, graduates and their family members, staff and instructors, and prospective employers and students huddled together for a cozy, intimate graduation exhibition at Vancouver's downtown campus. We saw talent from Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Game Development & Design, Visual Effects Art & Design, and 3D Modeling Animation Art & Design programs.

Nabat, a Graphic Design graduate, followed her university dream to brand and create a portable water filter – “H2GO” – that helps to supply families in third world countries with clean water for every unit sold in North America. In contrast, Natalie, Graphic Design graduate, was inspired by memorable nights of stargazing with close friends and created “Phases” – a monocratic wine company to stand out amongst competing wine brands.

Former Table Tennis professional and VFX graduate, Parth is following his passionate of blending computer graphic elements with live action footage. You can view his demo reel here. His future may include a career blending high-speed serves and spin shots with live action footage!

We were really impressed with all the graduate work we saw this winter – we can’t wait until spring 2020!
