Have you always been intrigued by the latest fashion trends? Or, have your friends often asked you for fashion or wardrobe advice?
Maybe you’ve been drawing since a young age, or cutting and sewing parts of our own outfits. In either case, we have a program that will help you hone your artistic talents into marketable skills. Now, you can attend our first-ever Virtual Fashion Design Workshop on Saturday, December 5 and learn more about our Fashion Design – Specialization in Marketing program at VCAD.
In this one-hour hands-on workshop, participate in croquis drawing, learn about basic shapes, vertical balance line, and much more – all you need is a pencil, ruler, and paper!
You’ll have the opportunity to discover the practical training you’ll receive at VCAD, including communicating through sketch and design, fashion styling techniques, analyzing garment construction, pattern making, and integrating fashion trends.
Led by one of our expert instructors, you’ll also get a chance to ask any questions you may have about the program and where you can find work once you graduate. Graduates from our Fashion Design program in Vancouver have gone on to start their careers at Christian Dior, Holt Renfrew, and Aritzia, among many other employers.
Don’t miss out on this fun, free, and interactive session – make sure to RSVP to reserve your spot. We’ll see you soon!
