You’re Invited to VCAD’s VFX

If you love costumes and prizes, you’re in the right place! VCAD will be kicking off its new Visual Effects Art & Design program on May 4th at 3pm.

Come dressed up as your favourite Star Wars character, your favourite movie character, or come as yourself and pose for a free photo in front of a green screen! Attendees can win a special prize for best costume. The event is open to the public so feel free to bring your friends!

3 – 5pm: Cosplayers and model costumes in front of green screen.*

5 – 7pm: VFX Demo Reels – Watch how industry pros piece together visual effects from start to finish to deliver realistic CGI right to your screen! Reels include studios such as:

Sony Pictures Imageworks
Moving Picture Company
Imagine Engine
Method Studios
And More 

Industry experts will also be present to discuss job outlook and answer any questions you may have about the field:
