Green Thumb is a plant store and cafe in Calgary, AB. The Plant Cafe will fill the need for a luxurious coffee shop experience where sippers can enjoy, and shop for, plants. It will be differentiated from competitors by providing more varieties of plants for sale, and more plants in and around the cafe area, giving it the look and feel of an oasis within the city’s downtown core. It will also be more high end than competitors, giving the air of a lush, opulent setting. There will be plenty of seating and outlets, encouraging guests to stay and enjoy the greenery and take a break from the hustle and bustle of downtown life. The target audience for this Plant Cafe is young professionals within Calgary. The target customer is male or female, with a mid- to upper-class income level, between the ages of 25 and 45.
