Located in Lloydminster, Alberta, The Corner Shop Café is a small ice cream shop and concession-style café that opened in the spring of 2024. Despite its warm and welcoming atmosphere, the café faced challenges in establishing a clear brand identity. Without a logo or cohesive branding, it struggled to differentiate itself and attract new customers. The goal of this rebrand was to create an identity that reflected the charm of a local, family-friendly business while appealing to both the community and tourists. Additionally, the project aimed to develop a fun and inviting events package, including digital invitations, customizable treats like ice cream sundaes and cakes, and engaging activities such as board games and crafts. The rebrand drew inspiration from the cozy, nostalgic feel of a “mom-and-pop” shop, particularly the charm of chalkboard-style menus. This aesthetic, with its hand-drawn doodles and personalized messages, became the cornerstone of the new brand identity. It reflects the café’s vision of being a fun and safe space for people to gather and indulge in sweet treats. While the café’s wide menu made it challenging to choose a single focus for the logo, the decision to feature an ice cream cone was guided by community feedback and the café’s reputation for delicious ice cream. The final design, featuring a playful ice cream cone illustration and a chalkboard-inspired style paired with a warm color palette, captures the inviting essence of The Corner Shop Café. The new brand identity not only enhances recognition but also sets the stage for future growth, making the café a beloved destination for both locals and visitors.

Tough Kitten is made for the man who knows the value of hard work, the smell of motor oil, and the satisfaction of a cold beer after a long day. Inspired by the rugged charm of vintage rides and the manly attitude of a garage built on sweat and skill, this design slaps together bold pink and teal hues with a rough-edged flair. At its core is a scarred-up kitten—cute but fierce, a fighter who wears its battles with pride. It’s a tribute to resilience, grit, and the kind of toughness that doesn’t back down, no matter the odds.

This project highlights a versatile collection of standalone advertisements across multiple sizes and mediums, from large printed billboard's to Instagram. These ads showcase my ability to create compelling, effective designs that grab attention and deliver a clear message. With eye-catching visuals, engaging text, and captivating captions, this collection reflects the range and creativity I bring to every advertisement.

Rebranding: Mountain Equipment Company (MEC) Mountain Equipment Company (MEC) has long been a trusted name for outdoor enthusiasts, known for its high-quality gear and deep-rooted commitment to sustainability and community. Originally founded as a co-op, MEC built its reputation on helping people explore the great outdoors. However, over time, the brand began to drift from its core values. As part of a group project, we set out to rebrand MEC and bring the focus back to its original mission: inspiring and equipping people to spend more time outside. The slogan, “Some watch. We adventure,” encapsulates MEC’s dedication to those who live for the thrill of the outdoors. My role in the rebranding effort was to design key branded assets, including clothing tags, a paper bag, a journal, a letterhead, and an envelope. Each design embodies the adventurous spirit and timeless reliability that MEC is known for, helping the brand reconnect with its roots and its audience.

This project showcases a series of 3D illustrations designed specifically for use as cellphone wallpapers. Each piece combines vibrant colours, intricate details, and dynamic compositions to create visually striking and immersive designs. The illustrations are crafted to bring a sense of depth and personality to mobile screens, offering users a unique and artistic way to personalize their devices.
